The shape game.
I drew out some random shapes and began making them into something more interesting. Most ended up being Dog heads, then I drew a suitable body. More fun than the line game!

A use for my illustrations?
I've been looking for ways to put my illustrations to use, I'm not so sure about the post cards yet, I need to find some thicker card so I can print my own rather than hand draw them.
My next idea was to recreate my drawings with a needle and thread...
and I love it. I made my first scene into a pencil case with rounded edges. I lined it so the stitching isn't visible from the inside.
I usually do something creative everyday, I just forget to blog about it.

Etsy?
I've had an Etsy account since last summer now, and have yet to use it. I've been thinking about it more and more lately... I just can't decide! I mean, will anyone be interested? Will people even find it?
There seems to be a lot to think about, shop policies, shipping prices, shop banner, photos.
I might just go for it and learn as I'm going along.
These are some of the items I am thinking about listing...

Monster postcards
I have been hand drawing my own, with little monster doodles. The image was taken on my phone so it isn't as clear as it could be, I must have miss placed my camera lead during the move.

I'm back!
BUT NOW - IT IS BACK! And I can be me again :-)
And here is a silly picture to prove it.

Sketchbook: Cat dog
I always end up drawing little creatures, especially cats and dogs. I started off with the ones in the masks, just to make them look a bit different. Which lead to me cat burglar, then doggy bag, and guard dog, and so on.........
Sketchbook: Pile of Cats
This evolved from a previous drawing of a plant, which reminded me of cat feet...
So I drew in a head... some more feet... another head... a tail... and there was the pile of cats.

My Sketchbook
It's a place I jot down pieces of inspiration and expand upon it, from my own imagination or from other people's work that catches my eye. It's a place to experiment and play. I do it for myself, it's like therapy.
