Zip up purse

I found a couple of zips so began working on a purse, which then led to 3... The larger ones would make a good make up bag. I now need to find a place to buy reasonable priced zips, I have so many ideas I want to try out.

It's taken me so long to add a photo of this one, as I don't have a finished one for long due to it's popularity. I was also asked to make a choker version, for my nan! The leather flower does take quite a while to make so I'd better get sewing.

Different colours and fabrics, satin and imitation leather are both nice to work with and give good printing effects (the black ones are leather).

I used studs and sew on diamontes.

Printing examples

I've been playing around with printing methods, using one ontop of another. The camera doesn't pick up all of the subtle details though but I do like the visible snake skin effect.

Keeping myself busy

I've done so many designs that I haven't been posting about so it's time to catch up. So far I haven't had to buy any fabrics, I'm using left over bits I've collected over the years, or using unwanted items of clothing.

After the success of the diary I set to work on some little notebooks. I wonder what else I can find...

I'm prepared! I've already got next years diary, a huge ugly green thing, the size was a good thing, the look of it wasn't. So I decided to make it more bearable to look at.

These will look gorgeous when they are finished. I can't wait to wear them. Some will also feature silver studs.

Destruction - Part two

I have finally put to use the old sofa leather I rescued. It will now be made into leather cuffs/bracelets, along with other things I'm sure.

New outlook

I'm just beginning to re-focus after a bit of recent bad luck. I have neglected my blog so it's time to catch up! Here are some designs I finished a week or so ago.
