Raising Funds

I donated a couple of my cuffs (as prizes) to the Summer Ball at Carlton Village Hall which was held on Sunday, where my cousin Adam Brunyee and his dance partner Sophie Denton were performing to raise funds for their visit to China, where they will be competing in the World Youth Latin American Championships in September. They are amazing and I wish them the best of luck.

I'm just curious

My latest interest - Steampunk! 

Which lead me to the deconstruction of many watches, just to see what was inside. The pieces look so much better already. Now I need to find a new use for them.

Cuffs

Last week I began experimenting with laces and spray paint. I'm not sure why, it just happened, but it was fun. Right now I'm on my travels again, sewing machine in hand and a bag full of lace prints. I thought they would look cool as fabrics bracelets/cuffs, I've been adding pvc or leather edging to the latest ones. Each has hand sewn press studs attached.

When I return home I will be setting up a shop on www.etsy.com so I've been doing plenty of sewing, but I'm running out of backing fabrics arrrgggghhh!
