My Illustrations

Here are a few of my doodles, I've used some of the images on cards so far. I intend to transfer them onto bits and pieces to make bags, cushion covers etc...
My skull obsession is becoming more and more apparent!

Ooooo

I stopped wearing this top years ago but always liked it too much to get rid of it. Now I can wear it in a new way!

Recycle the old

I've been routing through mine and my mums wardrobes for unwanted clothes we haven't worn in years. I need to get to grips with customising the old into new things. Knitted fabrics aren't what I'm used to working with so this will be a new challenge. I liked the diamonte buttons on this cardy. I first made this rather crappy looking bag, it has 3 main pockets and a sleeve for the phone, no handles yet, as it may become something else. Then I made this collar/scarf/choker. I would wear it! It turned out way better then the bag. It has a seam down the centre back and can be unbuttoned or slipped over the head.

In The Garden

I have been designing a lot of cards lately, my cunning plan is to try and sell some to advertise my blog! I will soon be setting up an ebay account so will be slipping in a thank you card to each buyer. These few were inspired by my garden. I took some photos then played around in photoshop.

LILA

Something else that caught my eye at the Hampton Flower Show was the gorgeous jewellery being worn. I didn't get any photo's that did it justice so I got this one from Lilas website. I hope it tempts you to visit her site - www.lila-jeweller-designer.co.uk
Lila was so lovely I just had to blog about her.

Wigs!

I can now tell you the designer/maker of the wigs, they can be found at www.yukiness.com
Thanks Chantal

Hampton Court Palace flower show

I've spent the past week in lovely Hertforshire having a ball! Last minute I was asked to help out at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, behind the scenes at the Catwalk in Bloom Show.

It was fun doing last minute alterations and helping out the models. Of course I took photo's!

I didn't manage to find out the name of the wig maker but I do know they were worth £1000 each, expensive but AMAZING!

Distraction

I was sat in the garden working on some illustrations, taking advantage of yesturdays lovely weather, but 'Flower' (THE friendliest cat in the world) had other ideas. She insisted on headbutting me, sitting on me, laying on my work, generally being cute and distracting.
